What settings are required for the Magento 1 Extension?

Clearpay module configuration screen

If you have completed the module installation successfully you should be on the Clearpay module configuration screen. If that is not the case. Please follow the steps below.

  • To configure the module you need to navigate to the "System->Configuration" top menu of your Magento admin panel.
  • Then click on the "Payment Methods" left hand menu to display the available payment methods installed.
  • You have to see the Clearpay as a new payment method

  • Enter your Clearpay `Merchant ID` and `Secret Key`, those fields are mandatory, and enable the module. To understand the rest of the settings you can check the following section.

Restricted Categories

This enables the user to restrict Clearpay to the selected product categories.

Product page Price CSS selector

This selector match with the HTML element on the product page that contains the price of the item. If by default the widget is not displayed properly you can change the CSS selector by another one that fits on your template.

Product page Position CSS selector

This selector match with the HTML element on the product page where you want the Clearpay widget to be show. If by default the widget is not displayed properly you can change the CSS selector by another one that fits on your template.

Cart page Position CSS selector

This selector match with the HTML element on the cart page that contains the price of the cart. If by default the widget is not displayed properly you can change the CSS selector by another one that fits on your template.
